THE PROJECT:

I helped develop and integrate a Spanish-language social media strategy for the Let’s Stop HIV Together campaign to authentically connect with Hispanic and Latino communities. The approach ensured that culturally relevant content, Spanish and, where appropriate, Spanglish, was woven into ongoing storytelling and awareness-day activations.

Through bilingual content creation, inclusive language, platform-specific adaptations, and refreshed translations, I aligned the campaign’s voice to the lived experiences of Spanish-speaking audiences. Posts were crafted to maintain cultural nuance, emotional accuracy, and resonance across Facebook, Instagram, X, and the website.

This framework elevated campaign visibility, strengthened community trust, and uplifted real stories and ambassadors from Hispanic/Latino communities, driving authentic engagement and more representative content across channels.

The strongest multicultural content strategies don’t adapt language, they adapt perspective.

the posts.

PERFORMANCE AT A GLANCE.

Our Spanish-first approach improved relevance and engagement by pairing bilingual content with terminology that reflects how Hispanic and Latino audiences actually communicate. Community insights informed clearer language choices and guided updates to the campaign language guide, ensuring messages remained authentic, inclusive, and culturally aligned.
